The 81st Fighter Wing Association has been holding yearly reunions since 1999. Reunions have been held all across the country – from Washington to Florida to Hawaii and everywhere in between. Each reunion has optional group activities, plenty of time to relax and visit with each other, and a banquet.
The 2017 reunion was held in Albuquerque, NM from October 28 – November 1.
Over the weekend we:
– Had lunch and a Mission Briefing at Kirtland AFB
– Visited the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History
– Traveled on the Sandia Peak Tramway
– Enjoyed a tour of Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Museum where we saw traditional dance
– Walked through parts of Petroglyph National Monument
